On 30th August 2021,EXCELLO was selected for the 2021 ASEIC Online Incubation Program EXCELLO has been selected for the 2021 Luxembourg V-SGBC online incubation program hosted/supervised by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, ASEIC, Luxembourg Trade & Investment Korea, and Luxinnovation. This program is a project that provides information on the market in Europe to selected companies for about 7 months from May to November in 2021. Also, it gives opportunities to match with local companies and institutions and supports local corporation administrative procedures and office space, etc. This support will facilitate the selected companies to enter the Luxembourg market and attract investment. Through this selection, EXCELLO will form a close relationship with Luxinnovation and cooperate with companies focusing on entering the European market through meeting with companies in the extreme environment industry located in Luxembourg and across Europe.
On 10th August 2021,JETRO decided to support EXCELLO Recently, according to the growth potential of EXCELLO (CEO Sebastian Park), the Japan Trade Promotion Organization (JETRO) decided to support the provision of information services for three years to strengthen the business engine in Japan. With respect to the interest of Japanese companies toward EXCELLO, JETRO plans to encourage EXCELLO’s entry into the Japanese market and provide investment promotion advice.
EXCELLO was granted ‘Inno-Biz’ certification on 27th July 2021 EXCELLO (CEO Sebastian Park) acquired “Inno-Biz” certification. ‘Inno-Biz’, a compounded word of ‘innovation’ and ‘business’, is a certification system granted to technologically innovative SMEs that have secured a competitive advantage by strengthening technological differentiation. The certification is obtainable by passing the assessment of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
EXCELLO was selected as a beneficiary of “Post TIPS” On 1st July 2021, EXCELLO was selected for “Post TIPS” start-up company-linked fund program. “TIPS” is a project that aims to increase the success rate of technology start-ups and foster global star ventures through government funding, such as R&D and commercialization. ‘EXCELLO’ signed on Partnership Agreement withGlobal Steel Equipment Manufacturer ‘SAB’ EXCELLO Co. Ltd has announced the partnership agreement with SAB s.ar.l., the global steel equipment manufacturer. Through the partnership, EXCELLO plans to grow up as a leading IoT application company in the field of extreme environment business. Extreme environment industry businesses, such as steel, metal, chemical, power planting, and waste incineration, are currently having difficulties in data collection and informatization due to its harsh conditions. SAB is an iron & steel equipment manufacturing company that supplies its product to more than 20 steel manufacturers, including ArcelorMittal, TATA, TKS and POSCO. One of SAB’s specialties is the Tuyere Stock (Pipe that blows extremely hot air into the blast furnace). Currently, SAB has higher than 35% shares from Tuyere Stock supply market mainly in EU and other countries, while supplying components of steel equipment by establishing Joint Venture, VCL, with global engineering company Paul Wurth. Tuyere Stock is a core equipment of steel manufacturing that endures up to 1,350℃ (2,462℉) of heat and 5 bar of pressure, when blowing hot wind into the blast furnace in order to melt iron ores and coke. Ltd has announced the completion of Series A investment news to the public on Thursday, the 13th. EXCELLO is a start-up, developing advanced IoT technology applicable to Extreme Environment equipment. Five different institutional investors including, IBK(Industrial Bank of Korea) and DONGYU Investment, participated Series A investment for EXCELLO. After its foundation in 2017, EXCELLO continuously developed technologies including, sensors and monitoring system that monitors temperature, erosion location, and status of equipment in extreme condition on a real-time basis. IoT technology to withstand extreme steelworks In these days, we can open car doors and operate household appliance with smartphones. However, the steel mill is a marginal place for IT. Because of the high temperature of molten Irons and the small metal particles being blown away, there are very few high-tech devices to withstand. EXCELLO rolled its arms to the modernization of the steel mill. EXCELLO is a company that applies new technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) to refractories that receive hot substances such as molten metal. CEO Seong-jae Park explained, “The moment steel mills control the information of molten steel, they can increase the production of high-grade steel and reduce the investment cost of production facilities.” #. On March 9, an explosion occurred at the blast furnace of the steel mill under the Baogang Group, China's largest state-owned steel company. According to China Economic Daily, the explosion soared with the explosion at the No. 4 blast furnace at the Baogang Steelworks in Shanghai's Baoshan District at 10:22 the night before. Signing Ceremony on the Joint Development of Technology for Measurement of Residual Rate of Blast Furnace Refractories On Sept. 26, POSCO and EXCELLO held a signing ceremony to jointly develop technology to measure residual rate of Blast Furnace Refractories. Through this joint technology development, POSCO and EXCELLO aim to identify data such as accurate Residual Conditions and Molten Iron Erosion of Furnace Refractories by allowing accurate measurement of residual amount of furnace refractories. The expectations of POSCO are to provide a safe working environment and to change management system to the IoT system from the existing analog management method.

In 12 November 2018, EXCELLO Co., Ltd was selected as the Alternative Military Service Providing Company for the Technology Researchers. R&D employees who have not completed mandatory military service, are now able to complete the military service while working in EXCELLO.
